Homemade Baby Food

I get so much satisfaction out of making my own baby food because

  1. I know exactly what’s in it
  2. It’s really simple and quick
  3. It’s a money saver

I just got done whipping up a batch of organic peas. This will be a first so I’m hoping Asher likes them! We’re holding off on baby food for a couple more months with Iylah, per her pediatrician, as her tummy isn’t quite ready for it yet.

So far Asher has loved everything I’ve made including sweet potatoes, carrots and avocados. I also plan on making spinach, squash and green beans. We haven’t introduced any fruits yet because I want to make sure he acquires a taste for his veggies before moving on to the sweet stuff! 😜

To store the food I purchased Kiddo Feedo and Tutti-Bimbi silicone trays on Amazon. They are amazing! Not to mention they’re free of BPA, phthalates and other toxins. Because they’re silicone, each serving pops out easily as you need it.
