Dry Body Brushing…Say What???

Zen MeDry body brushing is an ancient technique used to improve health, clear the skin and promote well being. Our skin is often neglected despite it being the largest organ of our body. It is exposed to many chemicals through the environment, beauty products, household cleaners etc. so it’s important to cleanse regularly. This is where dry body brushing comes in.

With dry brushing, dead skin cells are removed allowing the skin to breathe and regenerate new skin cells faster. It also increases lymph and blood flow. You may notice your skin take on a healthy glow and a decrease in acne, eczema or any other skin irritations. Dry brushing also helps tighten the skin, reduce cellulite and the appearance of stretch marks if done routinely!

I am honored to partner with Zen Me. They provided me with their highly rated Vitality Dry Body Brush in exchange for my honest review and experience with the product. You may view all of their 5 star reviews on Amazon here. As an added bonus, it is ergonomic and eco-friendly.

After using this brush for almost 3 weeks, I’m happy to say that dry body brushing works! My skin feels as smooth as a baby’s butt, I noticed myself sweating more (this is a good thing as it means my pores have been cleared), and I’ve noticed an improvement in my overall skin tone. These are all wins in my book. I would highly recommend to everyone! I try brushing once a day or at the very least, every other day. For best results, it is recommended 1-2 times daily. Please note, this brush is not intended for use on the face, as the bristles may cause irritation.
